The best teaching method in the world
Education is one of the greatest asset a nation can take advantage upon to move them to a self reliant nation.
In fact, education is the life wire of the a community that is geared towards a sustainable Sovereign State
Teachers are not left behind because they are the creators of world leaders, politician, doctors, lawyers and business persons etc.
They are two forms of teaching style adopted in a classroom setting and these are;
1. Teacher-student approach: This type of approach work real good in higher class and knowledgeable individuals such as seminars, higher institutions (Universities and Polytechnics), Presentation and other. But this type of technique is one sided. You will not be 100 percent sure if your listeners really understand what you’re talking about. Basically, is the teacher that is doing more of the talking and not the student
2. Student-Teacher centered approach: In this type of method, there is high level of understanding among the student and they do more of the talking in class. For example, if the topic you want to teach is about ‘Right attitude to work’, the teacher can chip in and ask more questions while the student answer the questions.
In this approach, ideas are sourced and generated by the student and in the process a large number tend to know and understand the topic
In the course of my teaching, the second method is one of the most useful approach I used when teaching in a basic class and so I recommend it for both teachers/lecturers at every field of study. One can also use a mixture of both at any time
